Because we all know how much Republicans love the Constitution. We know so because they say they do all the time. Unless it interferes with their hating and race bating. And then, well, it’s time to repair the fucking old piece of moldering parchment because there’s no way non-white babies should get an automatic “Welcome to America!” pass because of a little old thing like the United States Constitution! That’s un-American!
Remember, to Republicans and conservatives, the Constitution is a sacred document, and should never be changed.
Unless it’s inconvenient and interferes with their short term goals. Then all bets are off.
