I caught this yesterday after Jon Favreau tweeted to keep an eye on the movie trailer section at Apple.com. I got in just before the rush and watched it a couple of times. I really liked the first movie and love the tone of this one. The senate hearing and Stark Expo (love love love the Iron Man dancers!) look fabulous. The banter between Stark and Pepper in the plane (“You complete me”) is dead-on perfect.
Mickey Rourke also looks excellent as what I’m guessing is the Crimson Dynamo? I’m not up on my Iron Man lore but I think I read that’s who he’s supposed to be (though there may be parts of another Iron Man nemesis mixed in there as well). Scarlett Johansson rounds out the villain side of the equation as the Black Widow.
